The Role

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Junior / Associate Full Stack Firebase Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our development projects, working under the guidance of mid-level and senior developers. You will be responsible for implementing features, maintaining applications, and gaining hands-on experience in the entire Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase ecosystem. This position is ideal for an individual with a solid academic foundation and some practical experience, ready to take the next step in their professional career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of both front-end and back-end application components.

  • Implement features using core Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.

  • Contribute to the design and development of simple data models within Firestore and Realtime Database.

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code with guidance.

  • Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure application stability and functionality.

  • Collaborate with team members on tasks, providing updates and seeking help when needed.

  • Support the deployment of applications using Firebase Hosting and other GCP services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 0-2 years of professional or significant project-based experience in software development.

  • Basic proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a foundational understanding of web development frameworks like Next.js or React.

  • Familiarity with the core Firebase ecosystem.

  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Eagerness to learn and a strong foundational understanding of programming concepts.
